Alyssa Joy is a self-taught, eclectic visual artist born in the Philippines and raised in the San Fernando Valley. Her artwork reflects her life experiences, the stories of those she’s encountered, and the deeper truths of the soul. She uses highly intense colors to express vivid emotions, feelings, and ideas, creating a deep connection with her audience. Through her work, she embraces authenticity, depicting the rawness of both personal and shared journeys—how they felt, not just how they looked. She sees creativity as a gift from God, a way to express faith, healing, and the beauty found in life’s transformations. Inspired by the belief that we are all created to create, she views art as both a spiritual and human experience—one that invites us to reconnect with our inner child, embrace self-expression, and reflect the divine creativity within us.
